Atlassian Launches Rovo AI Assistant for Enterprises
Atlassian has announced the general availability of its generative AI assistant, Rovo, which was first unveiled six months ago and has been in closed beta since May. Rovo is designed to enhance knowledge discovery by integrating with various internal and external tools, including Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, and GitHub, enabling users to search across multiple platforms and automate workflows. The assistant features a comprehensive AI search engine, a chat interface, and approximately 20 pre-built agents that assist with tasks such as drafting documents and translating content. Atlassian plans to expand Rovo's capabilities with over 80 connectors to third-party services, providing broader access to data and enhancing its usability for non-Atlassian users. Rovo is available for $24 per user monthly and aims to save users one to two hours of work each week. This launch coincides with Atlassian's Team’24 Europe conference, where additional product announcements were also made.
