Ben Affleck Stars in 'The Accountant 2' Sequel

The highly anticipated sequel, 'The Accountant 2,' starring Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal, is set to hit theaters on April 25, with Affleck reprising his role as Christian Wolff. The film continues the story from the first movie, with Affleck's character teaming up with his brother Braxton, played by Bernthal, to solve the murder of FBI agent Ray King. At CinemaCon, Affleck expressed his enthusiasm for returning to the role, noting the character's lasting impact on him. Co-star Daniella Pineda hinted at intense fight scenes, while Affleck admitted to relying more on stunt performers as he ages. The movie will be directed by Gavin O'Connor and is part of Amazon MGM Studios' slate following their merger. Affleck and Matt Damon's production company, Artists Equity, is involved in producing the film.
