Dead & Company Confirm Three-Night 60th Anniversary Shows Golden Gate Park
Dead & Company will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead with a three-night concert series at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, scheduled for August 1-3, 2025. Each night will feature special opening acts: Billy Strings on August 1, Sturgill “Johnny Blue Skies” Simpson on August 2, and the Trey Anastasio Band on August 3. Tickets for the three-day event go on sale to the general public on May 30, with prices starting at $635 for three-day passes and $245 for single-day tickets, which will be announced soon; a presale begins May 28. The concerts are produced by Another Planet Entertainment and Live Nation, with VIP and premium packages available, including exclusive lounges, expedited entry, and elevated viewing areas. This event marks Dead & Company’s first Bay Area shows since their 2023 residency in Las Vegas and will be one of the major music events leading up to the Outside Lands festival in Golden Gate Park. Attendance is expected to reach about 60,000 per day, underscoring the significance of this milestone celebration for both the band and its fans.
