Travel Guides returns April 21 with new adventures

Channel 9's popular travel series Travel Guides returns for its eighth season on April 21, showcasing a variety of global destinations including New York City, Kakadu in Australia, Thailand, the Swiss Alps, Japan, and Tahiti. The show features familiar travelers like the Fren family and others, who will provide their candid perspectives on accommodations, activities, and local cuisines. The season opens with an exploration of New York, where the guides will visit iconic sites such as Times Square and the Statue of Liberty while sampling local delicacies. In a unique twist, the series continues to test the notion of what makes a perfect holiday, as the guides share their unfiltered reactions to each destination. Last year's season achieved a milestone with a unanimous perfect score for the Cook Islands, raising the anticipation for this season's adventures. Produced by Nine and narrated by comedian Denise Scott, the series promises to be the biggest yet.
