On Wednesday morning in Huntington Beach, a man fired a shotgun multiple times inside his condominium, with some rounds striking neighboring units near Pacific Coast Highway and Coral Cay Lane. The incident began around 6:25–6:30 a.m., leading to a swift police response, evacuation of nearby residents, and temporary closure of Pacific Coast Highway in both directions. After a standoff lasting about an hour and a half, the suspect surrendered to authorities without further incident around 7:50 a.m. No injuries were reported.
