Southern Hills Oklahoma Expected Host Sixth PGA Championship 2032
Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will make history by hosting the PGA Championship for a record sixth time in 2032, as announced by the PGA of America. The course has previously hosted the major tournament five times since 1970, including notable victories by Tiger Woods in 2007 and Justin Thomas in 2022. Southern Hills has also been the venue for the U.S. Open on three occasions. The 2032 event is expected to bring significant economic impact and international attention to Tulsa, building on the success of the 2022 championship which generated over $150 million for the local economy. Officials including Tulsa's mayor and Oklahoma's lieutenant governor have expressed enthusiasm about showcasing the community and state on a global stage. The announcement comes as the golf world prepares for the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
