Barrow FC Signs Michael Adu-Poku on Season-Long Loan from Watford

Barrow Football Club has secured Ghanaian winger Michael Adu-Poku on a season-long loan from Watford, aiming to bolster their attacking options with his pace and direct style. The 19-year-old, a product of Watford’s academy, has previously made Championship appearances for Watford and gained experience through several loans at clubs including Kings Langley, Maidstone United, Solihull Moors, and Rochdale. Adu-Poku reunites with Barrow head coach Andy Whing, who previously managed him at Solihull Moors and praised his unique speed and contribution to the team. The loan deal extends through the 2025-26 season, reflecting Barrow’s confidence in Adu-Poku’s development and potential impact. Alongside Adu-Poku, Barrow also signed defenders Charlie Raglan and Lewis Shipley, enhancing the squad under Whing’s management.
