Lotte Wubben-Moy Joins England Squad for Friendlies

Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy has been called up to the England squad for upcoming friendlies against the United States and Switzerland, replacing Manchester United captain Maya Le Tissier who is ruled out due to concussion. Le Tissier was diagnosed after a Women's Super League match against Chelsea and will undergo assessment following concussion protocols. Wubben-Moy has previously made 13 appearances for England and was part of the squad that won the Euros and reached the World Cup last year. The England team has won three of their last five matches, while their upcoming opponent, the U.S. team coached by Emma Hayes, has a perfect record in recent fixtures. The match against the U.S. is set to take place at Wembley Stadium, followed by a game against Switzerland at Bramall Lane on December 3.
