A 27-year-old man, Christian Alexander, was arrested after allegedly stabbing his parents with a box cutter at their home on Bond Street in Reading, Massachusetts. The incident, reported via a 911 call shortly after midnight, led to an hours-long manhunt involving multiple police departments and a drone unit. Alexander was apprehended around 3 a.m. and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. Both victims were transported to Lahey Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Alexander has been charged with assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
