Fox Sports Plans Major Investment in Tom Brady's Shadow Lion Studio

Fox Sports has deepened its partnership with Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and current lead NFL analyst for Fox, by investing in his entertainment and marketing studio, Shadow Lion. This strategic investment aims to extend Fox Sports' content beyond traditional NFL game coverage, focusing on original programming, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes stories that engage fans year-round. Brady highlighted the collaboration as an opportunity for exponential growth by developing diverse content and partnerships under one roof. The first project under this new partnership is a documentary series about Brady's alma mater, the University of Michigan football program, with Brady and former coach Jim Harbaugh serving as executive producers. Fox Sports CEO Eric Shanks emphasized the long-term nature of the investment, seeing it as a move to add a new creative dimension to the network. Shadow Lion will also establish a new office on the Fox lot in Los Angeles to facilitate ongoing content development.
