Apple iPhone 17 Air Gets Adaptive Power Mode

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series, including the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, in September 2025. The iPhone 17 Air will reportedly be just 5.5mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever, but it will have a battery under 3,000mAh. To address potential battery life concerns, Apple plans to introduce an Adaptive Power Mode in iOS 26 and offer a dedicated battery case accessory. The Air model will feature a 120Hz OLED display, a 48MP rear camera, 12GB of RAM, and a lightweight aluminum frame. All iPhone 17 models are expected to use the new A19 chipset and Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip. The iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature a 5,000mAh battery and additional premium features, with the lineup aiming to balance portability, design, and performance.
