Late-October High School Playoffs and Football Updates

Twenty-one Youngstown-area high school teams have unofficially earned enough computer points to qualify for the 2025 OHSAA playoffs, with official pairings to be released Oct. 26. Sports Illustrated published Oct. 24 final-score roundups covering multiple states, including Texas, Colorado, Ohio, California, Wisconsin and Arizona. High-school flag football remains active, with 63 games scheduled for Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, including two contests involving ranked teams highlighted by San Marcos vs Lutheran/Orange.
