NHRA Adds Georgia, Maryland Tracks for 75th Anniversary 2026 Season

The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series has announced its 2026 schedule, celebrating its 75th anniversary with 20 races across the United States, including two new venues for the first time since 2013. The series will debut at South Georgia Motorsports Park near Valdosta, Georgia, in early May and at Maryland International Raceway near Washington, D.C., later that month, replacing one of the previous stops in Las Vegas and North Carolina. These additions are part of a broader effort to evolve the series by introducing fresh energy and expanding its reach to new markets like Baltimore, Atlanta, and Tallahassee. The season will begin at Gainesville Raceway in Florida and conclude at Pomona Dragstrip in California, with all races broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports. NHRA President Glen Cromwell emphasized the milestone as a non-stop celebration of the sport's legacy, drivers, and fans, highlighting the vibrant future of drag racing.
