Jane Goodall Opens Pollinator Garden in Dubai, Plans 100 Beehives in Schools

Jane Goodall has inaugurated the Jane Goodall Pollinator Garden at Terra, Expo City in Dubai, aimed at promoting biodiversity and the crucial role of pollinators, particularly native bees. The garden features two thriving beehives, each housing over 15,000 UAE-native Apis mellifera bees, which have grown from a small hive discovered in 2019. Alongside the garden, the '100 Hives, 100 Schools' initiative will introduce beehives to 100 schools across the UAE, providing students with hands-on learning experiences about pollinators.
