Paraglider Maverick Robbins rescued after cliff crash in Queensland
Maverick Robbins, a 22-year-old paraglider, experienced a near-fatal crash at Rainbow Beach, Queensland, when a wind gust caused him to crash into a sandstone cliff, leaving him with a broken back and unable to feel his legs. Clinging to a small shrub and suspended above a 20-meter drop, he managed to call emergency services, requesting a helicopter for rescue.
