Tata Capital Sets ₹310–326 Price Band
Tata Capital has set a price band of ₹310–326 a share for a ₹15,511–15,512 crore IPO, valuing the NBFC at roughly ₹1.32–1.39 lakh crore. The offer comprises about 475.8 million shares — roughly 210 million fresh shares and ~266 million offer‑for‑sale — implying about 11% dilution, with Tata Sons and the IFC among sellers. Bookbuilding for anchor investors opens Oct. 3 and the public issue runs Oct. 6–8, with shares expected to start trading around Oct. 13. Company executives say proceeds will bolster tier‑1 capital and support lending growth, and management and bookrunners say the band was set deliberately below recent unlisted/grey‑market levels to boost retail participation. The sale is the largest NBFC IPO and one of the biggest equity offerings in India this year, coming amid a busy primary-market schedule.
