Ukrainian Forces Advance Near Dobropillia Liberating 188 Km²

Ukrainian forces have made significant progress in their counteroffensive near the eastern town of Dobropillia, liberating 188 square kilometers of territory held by Russian forces and clearing an additional 248.7 square kilometers of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance units. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, who is personally overseeing operations in the Donetsk region with the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, reported intensified pressure on the Dobropillia salient to disrupt Russian troop concentrations near the strategic city of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian troops have halted Russian advances in the northern part of Pokrovsk, preventing the encirclement of the city despite ongoing fighting and infiltration by Russian soldiers. The Ukrainian military continues to reinforce its units with additional manpower, weapons, and unmanned systems to sustain the offensive and clear urban areas of Russian presence. Syrskyi emphasized that combat operations aimed at destroying Russian forces are ongoing, with Ukrainian troops actively clearing occupied areas and maintaining high morale. This advance is part of a broader effort to push back Russian occupation forces in the Donetsk region and secure key logistic routes.
