Shivam Dube Out of T20I Series Against Bangladesh

Shivam Dube has been ruled out of the T20I series against Bangladesh due to a back injury sustained during training, prompting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to name Tilak Varma as his replacement. Dube will undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, while Varma will join the squad in Gwalior ahead of the first match. The series consists of three matches, starting on October 8 in Gwalior, followed by games in Delhi and Hyderabad. Varma, a promising young batsman known for his aggressive playing style, has previously represented India in T20Is and is expected to fill the gap left by Dube. The management chose to take precautionary measures regarding Dube's injury to prevent further complications. India's updated squad for the series includes notable players such as Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Washington Sundar.
