Major catchment dams are full, raising concerns of breaching banks and flooding in various areas beyond the city. The South Africa Weather Service issued warnings of gale-force winds and high waves, urging precautions for ships at port. Despite the damage, residents have been seen enjoying the adverse weather conditions, with some engaging in activities like boogie boarding in flooded areas.
