Butch Hartman Launches Indie Animation Studio for Kids Programming

Butch Hartman, the Emmy and Annie Award-nominated creator of iconic Nickelodeon shows such as The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom, has launched Butch Hartman Studios, an independent animation studio focused on producing original faith-based and mainstream programming for children and families. The studio's first project is the expansion of The Garden Cartoon, a Christian-themed animated series created by Hartman and executive produced by his wife Julieann, with season one available on Angel Studios and season two currently in production. Several Garden Cartoon movies, some aligned with Christian holidays, are also planned for release through BMG-Global. Additional projects in development include Little Harps, about a guardian angel school; Dragon Drive-Thru, following three dragons running a medieval fast-food stand; and Family Fusion, which centers on two super-science families living as neighbors. Hartman emphasizes that the studio's mission is to provide safe, fun, and empowering entertainment that nurtures children's imaginations and imparts positive values, rooted in his Christian faith. The studio employs over 40 animators, many of whom have previously collaborated with Hartman, ensuring quality and family-friendly content.
