Three Arrested for Murder of Uber Driver in Lagos

The suspects ordered the ride from Chevron to Obalende, where they attacked the driver, stabbing him multiple times in the neck, but failed to steal the vehicle. Immediate intervention by local residents led to the arrest of two suspects at the scene, while others were captured later. The police commissioner described Segun as the gang leader and highlighted a troubling trend of violent crimes involving rideshare services. A second incident also saw the arrest of a separate gang involved in the murder of another Uber driver.
