Wallace, who stepped down from his role on MasterChef amid these allegations, has faced accusations from at least 13 women, including inappropriate comments and unwanted advances. In her remarks, Kelly expressed concern over the abuse of power in the industry, stating, "There are toxic people in telly... it's horrible and it's toxic and nasty." She condemned those who enable such behaviour, emphasizing the need for accountability. Wallace has denied the allegations, previously suggesting they originated from "a handful of middle-class women of a certain age," a comment that has drawn widespread backlash. Following public outrage, he later issued an apology for his remarks, acknowledging the stress he was under at the time.
