Oklahoma Man Arrested in Texas for Father’s Day Shooting of Father, Brothers

Kywaun Washington, 26, was arrested in San Antonio for allegedly shooting his father and two brothers during a Father's Day gathering in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The shooting occurred on June 15 near North Denver Avenue, leaving two victims with multiple gunshot wounds and one in critical condition who arrived at a hospital in a private vehicle. Washington was charged with three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and was taken into custody early Wednesday, currently held in Bexar County Jail before being extradited to Tulsa. Witnesses reported the victims and Washington were together prior to the shooting, and police identified Washington as the suspect after a probable cause hearing. Authorities also noted that a vehicle was stolen from the scene, and Washington was on probation at the time of the incident. The victims have since stabilized, and police investigations continue.
