Man Utd Rejects Chelsea Swap Offers in Garnacho Transfer Talks
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is expected to leave the club, with Chelsea emerging as the primary suitor despite a significant gap between the clubs on his transfer fee. United are demanding around £50 million, while Chelsea value Garnacho closer to £25-30 million and have attempted to include fringe players such as 19-year-old Tyrique George in swap deals, though United have rejected these offers. Garnacho has rejected interest from Bayern Munich and other clubs, insisting on a move to Chelsea or remaining at United until January. Chelsea continue to try to offload players like Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku to fund the move, while Garnacho has been frozen out of United's first-team squad. Tyrique George, who has made 26 appearances for Chelsea, is reportedly now being considered by Roma after United declined to include him in the Garnacho deal. United's manager Ruben Amorim has acknowledged the difficulty of having players out of favor but aims to arrange satisfactory transfers for all parties before the window closes.
