Lubrizol Corporation has announced a $200 million investment to establish a new manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, India, which will be its largest in the country and second-largest globally. The project will cover a 120-acre plot and is set to support the growing transportation and industrial fluid markets in the region. This investment builds on Lubrizol's recent commitment of $150 million for a CPVC resin plant in Gujarat and aims to enhance local manufacturing capabilities while also creating jobs. The construction will take place in phases, with the plant expected to support various Lubrizol businesses in the future. Flavio Kliger, President of Lubrizol Additives, emphasized the importance of a local-for-local approach in their operations. The facility's manufacturing commencement coincides with the company's 100th anniversary in 2028.
