Monaghan GAA Legend Eugene 'Nudie' Hughes Dies Aged 67

Eugene 'Nudie' Hughes, widely regarded as one of Monaghan's greatest Gaelic footballers, has passed away at age 67 after a battle with cancer. Hughes was a three-time All-Star winner, the first from Monaghan to receive this honor in 1979, and earned subsequent awards in 1985 and 1989, coinciding with Monaghan's Ulster Championship victories.
