'Amaran' Grosses Over ₹200 Crore Globally

The biographical film 'Amaran', starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, about the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, has grossed over ₹200 crore worldwide in just 10 days, marking it as Sivakarthikeyan's highest-grossing film. Released on October 31, the film has received positive reviews for its portrayal of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice, bolstered by strong performances, particularly by Sai Pallavi. However, director Vasanthabalan criticized the film for not addressing the real political issues surrounding Kashmir. Despite this, the film's success is evident with significant box office earnings from Tamil Nadu and overseas markets.
