Netflix is set to release a film called Scoop, which is based on the infamous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview between journalist Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The film will star Gillian Anderson as Maitlis and Rufus Sewell as Prince Andrew. Scoop promises to provide a dramatic retelling of how reporters secured the interview and will delve into the downfall of the prince. The movie is based on the book Scoops: Behind The Scenes of the BBC's Most Shocking Interview by Sam McAlister and is set to be released on Netflix in the spring.
