Max Pacioretty Placed on Injured Reserve by Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed forward Max Pacioretty on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury after taking a puck to the face during a game against the Montreal Canadiens. This move is retroactive to January 18, and Pacioretty is expected to be out until at least next week. In response, the Leafs have called up 22-year-old forward Jacob Quillan from the AHL's Toronto Marlies to fill his roster spot.
