Young Thug Sets May Release for 'Uy Scuti' Album

Young Thug has announced his new album, Uy Scuti, his first major solo project since being released from prison in October 2024 after serving over 900 days for gang, drug, and gun charges. The album, named after a red supergiant star, has been teased through social media, merchandise drops, and a billboard near Coachella, with a release expected in May 2025. Fans are speculating that the date may coincide with the anniversary of his 2022 RICO arrest. The official shop offers various vinyl and CD editions, as well as exclusive merchandise, including a T-shirt honoring his attorney Brian Steel, with cover art and tracklist still under wraps. Uy Scuti follows his last full-length solo album, Business Is Business, released in 2023, and comes after several high-profile collaborations. Young Thug is also scheduled to headline the Summer Smash Festival in June 2025, marking his first major live performance since his release.
