National Geographic and Amblin Partner for JAWS @ 50 Documentary

National Geographic, in collaboration with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Documentaries, is producing a documentary titled JAWS @ 50 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic film and bestselling novel by Peter Benchley. The documentary will delve into the making of the film, the writing process of the book, and the cultural impact of Jaws, featuring new interviews and archival material. Directed by Laurent Bouzereau, the film will explore the fascination with sharks, the evolution of shark-related dialogue, and the efforts in ocean conservation. Scheduled for a summer 2025 release, JAWS @ 50 will be shown on National Geographic, Disney+, and Hulu as part of Sharkfest.
