A 26-year-old mechanic named Mohammad Nadeem set an Ola Electric showroom in Kalaburagi, Karnataka on fire due to frustrations over unresolved technical issues with his newly purchased electric scooter. Nadeem had repeatedly visited the showroom for repairs, but felt ignored by the staff. The fire destroyed six scooters and caused damage worth approximately Rs 8 lakh, though no casualties occurred. Ola Electric condemned the act and has lodged an FIR against Nadeem. The incident highlights growing dissatisfaction with Ola's customer service, as many customers have reported similar grievances. Nadeem has been arrested and is in judicial custody.
