First Dog-Friendly Cruise to Launch in 2025

In a pioneering move, Cruise Tails and Expedia Cruises of West Orlando have announced a first-ever dog-friendly cruise aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, set to sail from Tampa, Florida in November 2025. This unique voyage will accommodate 250 dogs and their owners, offering a range of pet-centric activities including dog shows, costume contests, and puppy massages. Each cabin will feature a private pet relief station, and a 'Pet Butler' will assist in maintaining cleanliness. Dogs must meet health requirements, such as up-to-date vaccinations, to board. Although the cruise focuses on canine companions, dog-free zones such as the casino and pool decks will be available for passengers seeking a break from pet-related activities. The initiative aims to celebrate the bond between humans and their pets and could inspire similar offerings in the industry.
