Buc-ee's Breaks Ground in Huber Heights

Ohio's first Buc-ee’s store has broken ground in Huber Heights, with plans to open by late 2025 or early 2026. The 74,000-square-foot travel center, located at State Rt. 235 and I-70, will feature 120 gas pumps, 24 EV charging stations, and 700 parking spaces, and is expected to create 200-250 full-time jobs. Buc-ee’s President Beaver Aplin and Huber Heights Mayor Jeff Gore highlighted the economic impact and convenience for travelers. Although there is ongoing litigation over water and sewer services between Huber Heights and Clark County, it will not affect the store's construction. The development includes significant roadway upgrades to manage increased traffic. The store's groundbreaking has generated significant local excitement and anticipation.
