BBC Radio Teams Complete Swimming Challenge

Teams from various BBC local radio stations across the UK have participated in the BBC Children in Need 1000 Mile Swim challenge, collectively swimming 1,000 miles to raise funds for disadvantaged children. Presenters from BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Tees, BBC Radio Newcastle, BBC Devon, and BBC Radio Merseyside completed their respective swimming distances, with many expressing pride in overcoming personal challenges. The Belfast team swam at Templemore Baths and raised over £100,000, while the Leeds team highlighted the emotional significance of their participation.
