New York City Violence Leaves Six Dead

A violent day in New York City on October 30, 2024, resulted in five adults dead across Brooklyn and the Bronx in three separate incidents, as well as a newborn found dead in the Bronx. In Brooklyn, Kelvin Reynoso and Ralph Hand were killed in separate stabbing incidents, with Devon Elliott arrested in connection to Reynoso's death. In the Bronx, a shooting on Southern Boulevard left a 57-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man dead, and a 34-year-old man critically injured. Additionally, a newborn baby girl, with her umbilical cord still attached, was discovered dead behind an apartment building on St. Lawrence Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. The NYPD is investigating the circumstances surrounding the infant's death and has not made any arrests. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information about the baby's death to contact Crime Stoppers confidentially.
