Blink Charging Joins Hubject Intercharge Platform Expanding EV Access North America
Blink Charging has partnered with Hubject to integrate its charging stations into Hubject's intercharge eRoaming platform, enhancing electric vehicle (EV) charging accessibility across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This collaboration allows electric mobility service providers (eMSPs) and their customers to access Blink's extensive network of charging stations, ranging from Level 2 workplace chargers to high-power DC fast chargers, through existing apps and platforms. The integration, scheduled for phased deployment throughout 2025 with full completion targeted by year-end, will use the industry-standard OCPI protocol to ensure secure and standardized billing and communication between networks. Hubject, which connects over 1 million charging points globally, aims to reduce barriers in EV charging and support the growing adoption of electric vehicles in North America. Both companies highlight that the partnership will increase utilization of Blink's infrastructure while expanding charging options for Hubject's partners, thereby advancing seamless and interoperable charging experiences for EV drivers. The CEOs of both companies emphasize that this agreement marks a significant step toward expanding convenient, reliable, and interoperable EV charging access across the continent.
