Delta Expands Winter Routes With 14 New Flights

Delta Air Lines is launching a significant winter expansion with 14 new routes to leisure destinations across the U.S., including a Saturday-only seasonal nonstop flight between Austin and Palm Springs starting November 2025 on Embraer E175 aircraft. This marks the resumption of nonstop service between the two cities after more than a year. Additional new routes include flights from Orlando to several Midwest cities, special service for college football fans, and new ski-focused routes from New York to Eagle County, Colorado, and Bozeman, Montana. The expansion is part of Delta’s strategy to capture premium leisure and weekend travel demand, even as some competitors reduce service. Airport officials in both Palm Springs and Austin have welcomed these additions, citing benefits for tourism and local travelers. Tickets for many of the new routes are already available for booking.
