New England Revolution Re-signs Andrew Farrell
The New England Revolution have re-signed veteran defender Andrew Farrell for a record 13th MLS season, making him the first player in the club's history to achieve this milestone. At 32 years old, Farrell will also transition into an assistant coaching role within the Revolution Academy, part of a new Player Professional Development position aimed at furthering his coaching career. Sporting Director Curt Onalfo expressed enthusiasm for Farrell's continued contributions on the field and his mentorship of younger players. Farrell, a three-time Revolution Humanitarian of the Year, has made 341 appearances with the club, holding records for games played, starts, and minutes. He is currently pursuing his U.S. Soccer B coaching license to enhance his coaching skills. Farrell expressed gratitude to fans and excitement for both continuing his playing career and starting his coaching journey with the club he loves.
