Moldova and Romania Sign Energy Cooperation Agreement

Moldova has signed a memorandum with Poland to enhance energy efficiency in buildings, aiming for modernization and investment in the sector as part of Moldova's EU integration efforts. The agreement, signed by Energy Minister Victor Parlicov, emphasizes knowledge exchange and legislative support for energy efficiency projects. In Azerbaijan, two significant memorandums were signed: one between Clean Energy Jabrayil LLC and Baku Steel Company for the construction of solar power plants, and another with China's TBEA for cooperation on high-tech energy equipment and regional green energy projects. Finland and the UK have also signed an MoU to collaborate on nuclear energy technologies, reinforcing energy security and low-carbon initiatives. Romania's energy minister signed a similar MoU with Moldova to foster innovation in energy and support clean technology investments. These agreements reflect a broader commitment across multiple nations to transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
