Bristol Council Proposes 435 Homes Development

Bristol City Council is set to approve a significant redevelopment plan by Dandara Living for 435 new homes at the former Peugeot dealership site near Temple Meads, featuring tower blocks up to 15-storeys high. The proposal has undergone extensive revisions since its initial submission in December 2022, reducing the height from 20 storeys and including 43 affordable homes, which is about 10% of the total. University Heights City Council has approved a redevelopment plan for University Square, which will introduce over 200 apartments and new retail and dining options, while Reading town council has greenlit an 11-storey tower to replace an existing building and townhouse, promising new residential units and a restaurant.
