Ananda Lewis Shares Stage 4 Cancer Management

Ananda Lewis, former MTV VJ, has revealed that her breast cancer has progressed to Stage 4 after initially being diagnosed with Stage 3 in 2019. Despite doctors recommending a double mastectomy, Lewis opted for alternative treatments, including homeopathic remedies and lifestyle changes, while also using medication and radiation. This decision was partly due to her belief in her body's resilience and a desire to maintain her quality of life. However, she expressed some regret over not following medical advice for surgery, acknowledging that her condition has worsened. Despite the cancer spreading significantly, Lewis reports that new medications are currently helping her manage the illness, and she feels she is 'thriving'. She continues to emphasize the importance of regular mammograms, reflecting on her earlier decision to avoid them due to radiation fears.
