Benn failed two drug tests in 2022, testing positive for clomifene, leading to the cancellation of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr. Initially cleared by the NADP in July 2023, his suspension was reinstated after an appeal by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC). The recent NADP decision stated they were 'not comfortably satisfied' that UKAD proved Benn's violation, effectively lifting his suspension.
