Jay Blades Charged, Removed from BBC Projects

Jay Blades, the presenter of BBC's 'The Repair Shop', has been charged with controlling or coercive behavior towards his estranged wife, Lisa Zbozen, concerning incidents between January 1, 2023, and September 12, 2023. As a result, Blades has been removed from upcoming projects, including the 'Secrets From The Barn' tour and the Christmas special of 'The Repair Shop'. Channel 4 and Channel 5 have also canceled planned shows featuring him. His court appearance at Worcester Crown Court is expected to involve a plea hearing. The BBC has stated they will not feature any new programs with Blades until the legal proceedings are resolved, although existing content with him remains available on BBC iPlayer.
