Denis Arndt, Actor and Vietnam Vet, Dies at 86
Denis Arndt, a versatile actor known for roles in 'Basic Instinct' and 'S.W.A.T.', has died at age 86 in his Ashland, Oregon home. A Vietnam War veteran awarded the Purple Heart twice, Arndt transitioned from a helicopter pilot to a celebrated actor after being encouraged to audition for theater in Seattle. Law', 'Picket Fences', and 'The Good Fight'. His Broadway debut in 'Heisenberg' alongside Mary-Louise Parker earned him a Tony nomination, marking a pinnacle in his career. Arndt's legacy extends beyond acting, as he was instrumental in shaping the Pacific Northwest theater scene. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
