Navy Women's Basketball Tops Delaware 79-69

The Navy Midshipmen women's basketball team defeated the Delaware Blue Hens 79-69, concluding their non-conference schedule with an 8-3 record. Navy established an early lead with a 10-0 run but faced multiple comebacks from Delaware, which they ultimately overcame in the fourth quarter, shooting 90% from the field at one point. Zanai Barnett-Gay led Navy with a season-high 27 points, complemented by Kate Samson's 18 points. The Midshipmen's performance was marked by effective ball distribution, achieving 19 assists against 13 turnovers. This win also ended a four-game losing streak against Delaware, bringing the series record to 7-5 in favor of the Blue Hens. Navy will resume play in the Patriot League on January 2 against American.
