An 11-year-old boy named Kritarth was murdered in a black magic ritual at DL Public School in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, aimed at bringing prosperity to the institution. The school's owner, Jasodhan Singh, his son and director, Dinesh Baghel, and three teachers have been arrested. The accused initially planned to conduct the ritual outside the school but killed Kritarth when he began to scream. This was not their first attempt; they had previously tried to sacrifice another student. The gruesome act came to light when the boy's father, Krishan Kushwaha, was informed that his son was unwell, only to find his body later. Investigations have uncovered objects associated with black magic, confirming the police's suspicions.
