A 19-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a Cincinnati police cruiser while responding to a shots fired call on Este Avenue around 6 p.m. on Thursday. Police Chief Teresa Theetge reported that the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk at the time of the incident, and the officer had his lights and sirens activated.
