Death Stranding 2 Launches June 26, Pre-Orders Begin March 17

Hideo Kojima announced at SXSW that 'Death Stranding 2: On the Beach' will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025. The game features returning character Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, and explores themes of human connection in a post-apocalyptic world. A new 10-minute trailer showcasing gameplay was also unveiled, revealing new characters and environments that players will encounter. Pre-orders will open on March 17, 2025, with standard editions priced at $69.99 and a Collector's Edition available for $229.99, which includes exclusive items like a 15-inch Magellan Man statue. The Collector's Edition also grants early access to the game starting June 24. Additionally, Kojima announced 'The Strands of Harmony World Tour,' a global concert showcasing music from the game, with the first performance scheduled for November 8 at the Sydney Opera House.
