Ohio Police Recruit Officially Charged in Tennessee Case
Christopher Noe, a former recruit of the Dayton Police Academy, was arrested and charged with solicitation and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor in Putnam County, Tennessee. The charges stem from inappropriate conversations he had with a minor on Snapchat, which were investigated by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office beginning February 25, 2025. Noe was arrested by Dayton police on February 26 and later extradited to Tennessee. He was officially charged on April 3, with a bond set at $225,000 and a court date scheduled for May 19. The Dayton Police Department has discharged Noe, citing his conduct as unacceptable and below the ethical standards required of their staff. Authorities in Dayton have stated they are cooperating fully with the investigation in Putnam County.
